Does anybody have a reliable safe way to do telehealth during this complicated time when people need to do social distancing? I know one therapist who is doing it. In the past, there was a very negative attitude toward this in here.
Sorry for your past experience. Telehealth is something that all therapists, even ones who strongly prefer in-office, have to acknowledge as part of the norm now. APPT is preparing resources right now to post in our forums, you should be seeing it in a day or so.
I have used Doxy.me a few times and it has worked really well for me and my clients say that it is very easy to use. It’s free, HIPAA compliant, and has a business associates agreement. I’ve heard nothing but good things about it.
We signed up for VSee…I am totally new to this…we just figured Doxy.me was going to be inundated with new subscribers and we needed the functionality for prescribers. I suppose I will find out this week what it’s all about. Good luck everyone who is providing services. My caseload has dropped off dramatically past 10 days or so…and the ones that are left aren’t excited about telehealth. We do what we can…
