      Dear Colleagues,
      It has been a while since I have practiced full time and find that I have a subject I would like to be considered by the group. Has anyone worked with folks who are employed by Kelloggs? There seems to be a reoccurring theme with employees having to work extraordinarily long hours and losing “points” if they take time off, ie: coming to counseling. It has been requested that I write a letter to enable client to have an “excused absence” to attend counseling. Interesting point is that employees are using EAP services to deal with the stress and problems related to working long hours; relationship issues, family issues, etc.
      Kelloggs does have a union, however, it does not get involved with time off and hours worked. That is what I have been told.
