Support Dogs: Therapy Dogs, Service Dogs & ESA

Presented by Jessica Gleason (Professional Dog Trainer)

Jessica will be presenting on the differences in roles of of support dogs including therapy dogs, service dogs and emotional support animals (ESA). Dogs can have an incredible positive impact on the therapeutic process and help clients through companionship or work directly related to a disability. As a dog trainer that specializes in support dog training, Jessica often sees dogs mislabeled and under trained for the job they are doing. Jessica will discuss how the differences in roles impact your clients and how to guide them through the decision making process around receiving and training a support dog.
