Methodist Physicians Clinic

Introduction to the Enneagram

The Enneagram is an ancient personality type indicator that was linked with modern psychology in the 1970’s. Attendees to this Lunch & Learn will learn about the nine types as well as the motivations, attitudes, fears and desires that drive each type. The Enneagram can empower therapists to see patterns of evolution and de-evolution to be reflected to their clients. Attendees will also take a brief assessment to begin exploring what their type is out of the nine types.

Flame Schoeder is a professional, certified life coach with more than 15 years of experience. She has coached at PayPal, Physicians Mutual Insurance, and Immanuel. She is the first North American recipient of the International Coach Federation’s Young Coach Leader award for leadership in the field of coaching. She has studied the Enneagram since 1997 when her best friend suggested she should discover her own type. Little did she know that she was a perfectionist. Nowadays, Flame considers herself a “recovering perfectionist.” When she’s not coaching, she’s spending quality time with her two brilliant children and daydreaming about the tiny house she’ll build someday
