Did You Know…?
Information that Counselors Need to Know
Kolleen Meyer-Krikac, MSEd., LMHP, LPC, NCC
In teaching a variety of webinars and workshops, Kolleen has learned a lot about ethical issues, legal concerns and other things that counselors need to be aware of but may not know. Did you know that you should have a professional will? Do you know the consequences of not reporting yourself to Licensure if you have been in trouble with the law? Do you know who to go to if you are having difficulties with an insurance company? These are just a few of the issues we will address in this presentation.
Kolleen is a counselor and life coach in private practice in Lincoln, Nebraska. She owns her own professional office building, Wilshire Business Suites, which houses 6 counselors in private practice. Kolleen achieved her lifelong goal of becoming an author in September of 2017 when she published her book, How to Create Your Balanced Life.
Kolleen uses her skills as a former teacher when she offers workshops, trainings, webinars, online courses, small group coaching and speaks to organizations on a variety of topics related to creating balance, achieving goals, increasing productivity and finding meaning. She uses her personal and professional experiences to help her clients master the areas of their lives that are holding them back and to create a plan that will help them to achieve their goals while finding purpose.
